Posts

Register post: a code (BDR-PLACE), name, the countries on each side, and the border champion who covers it. A post without a champion shows as Not covered.

Recording a crossing

On the trip (Fleet → Trips), Record border event: the post, Reached the post or Cleared the post, and who recorded it. Time at the border (dwell) is worked out from these.

Clearance

Border → Clearance → Open clearance for a trip at a post, with the papers in hand:

1. Paper: attach each paper (invoice, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, customs declaration, other) with its reference, and record it as cleared once stamped.
2. Check: the physical check: Passed, Held or Refused, the seal, what was found.
3. Clear: when every paper is cleared and the check passed. The trip log records Border cleared.

Clearance: Open → Papers cleared → Cleared, or Held / Refused.

Cash at the border

Record cash: the post, the amount and currency, what it paid for (customs duty, levy, agency fee, parking, other), to whom, the trip or lot, and the paper receipt number. Finance then Reconciles it or Queries it.
