Register a warehouse
Register warehouse: a code (WH-PLACE-NN), name, city, country, operator, capacity in tonnes and insurer. A warehouse can be Suspended and reopened from the Warehouses tab; a suspended warehouse, or one without room, refuses intakes and inbound moves.
Expect a consignment
Inbound → Record expected consignment: commodity, expected tonnes, the warehouse, who sent it, origin, expected date. It shows as overdue if it is late, and can be cancelled with a reason.
Take a crop in
Record intake:
- Choose the consignment it arrived against (or none), the commodity, weight, warehouse and origin.
- Enter the lab readings: moisture, foreign matter, toxins.
- Optionally fill Receipt for the supplier to issue the receipt at the same time.
- Attest and mint. The readings are checked against the commodity's limits; a lot that fails is refused.
Issue a receipt
From a lot, Issue receipt: who confirmed it, who delivered it, their phone and identity number, and the agreed price per tonne if any. The receipt's verification code is shown once: write it on the paper copy or give it to the supplier then. It cannot be shown again.
A receipt can be voided with a reason, unless it has been paid early against.
Process a lot
Process on a lot: what it produces, input consumed and output produced. The yield is shown against the permitted range; Record conversion.
Move a lot
Move: the destination warehouse and the vehicle. This makes a trip and a gate pass. The lot stays where it is until the trip arrives.
The gate
Gate lists expected arrivals. When a truck arrives, Confirm at gate and enter the driver's pass code. The dialog warns if confirming will release escrow.
Release goods
From a lot, Release: the tonnes, who is collecting. The tokens are locked until Goods left (they are burned) or Cancel (they are given back).
Inspections
Record inspection: the warehouse, the inspector, Pass or Fail, findings. Failed inspections appear on the dashboard under Needs attention.
